10:38 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vuzix ( VUZI ) said Tuesday it will be added to the Russell 3000 Index following the 2025 annual reconstitution, according to a preliminary list issued by FTSE Russell.

The change will take effect when US markets open on June 27, the company said.

Being part of the Russell 3000 also means Vuzix ( VUZI ) will join either the Russell 1000 or Russell 2000 Index, depending on its size, it added.

FTSE Russell uses market cap and investment style to decide which companies are included in its indexes, according to the company.

Shares of the company were up nearly 14% in recent trading.
