09:41 AM EST, 01/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- W. P. Carey (WPC) said Wednesday that its investment volume for full-year 2024 was about $1.6 billion at a weighted-average initial cap rate of roughly 7.5% and an average yield of around 9%.

The company said that last year it was mainly focused on buying "single-tenant warehouse and industrial properties, which comprised close to 60% of its full-year investment volume, with retail properties comprising approximately 30%."

About three-quarters of the company's 2024 investment volume was in North America, while one-quarter was in Europe, W. P. Carey said.

During Q4, W. P. Carey completed record on-balance sheet investment volume for a quarter of about $845 million, it said.
