Wabash National's Q2 Adjusted EPS Rises, Net Sales Decline; 2024 Guidance Lowered

08:22 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wabash National ( WNC ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.64 per diluted share, down from $1.54 a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.56.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $550.6 million, down from $686.6 million a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $594.7 million.

The company now expects 2024 EPS of $1.50 to $1.60, down from its prior guidance of $2 to $2.50.

Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $2.06.

Adjusted earnings for the year are now expected to be between $1.50 and $1.60 on revenue of $2.0 billion to $2.2 billion, compared with its earlier forecast of $2.00 to $2.50 on revenue of $2.2 billion to $2.4 billion

Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $2.24 billion.

Shares of the company were down 10% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
