Walgreens to Close Underperforming Stores Over Next 3 Years, CEO Says

09:14 AM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walgreens Boots Alliance ( WBA ) is finalizing a multifactor store footprint optimization program, which it expects will include the closure of a "significant portion" of underperforming stores over the next three years, Chief Executive Timothy Wentworth said Thursday on the company's Q3 earnings call.
