10:18 AM EDT, 07/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wallbox ( WBX ) said Wednesday it has launched the "Supernova 220," the next iteration of its Supernova DC fast charger.

The new Supernova 220 charges at up to 220 kilowatts, fully charging a passenger electric vehicle up to 100 miles in eight minutes. It expands options for charge point operators with reliable, high-uptime chargers tailored to each location's needs, the company said.

The charger provides power for both low and high-voltage EVs, with a compact footprint and integrated DC metering compliance, Wallbox ( WBX ) said.

Shares of Wallbox ( WBX ) were up 4.9% in recent Wednesday trading.
