08:37 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wallbridge Mining ( WLBMF ) reported Wednesday the results for the remaining seven holes from its first phase of drilling at the Martiniere gold project in Quebec.
A statement noted results include 2.79 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 5.8 meters in the Dragonfly zone, 6.83 g/t gold over 1.9 meters in the Horsefly zone, and 3.27 g/t gold over 1.1 meters in the Bug Lake South zone.
"The final results of our phase 1 drilling program reinforce our conviction in the growth potential of the Martiniere gold system, which we believe extends well beyond the currently defined mineral resource," CEO Brian Penny said. "Our exploration team is now using these encouraging results, together with insights gained from the 2024 exploration program, and the updated mineral resource model to plan the next phase of drilling."
Wallbridge plans to begin the second phase of drilling later this month. The company is seeking to complete 10,000 to 15,000 meters of drilling at Martiniere in 2025.
Wallbridge's share price gained 8.3% on Monday to $0.065 on the TSX.
