08:01 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart ( WMT ) and Avery Dennison (AVY) said Wednesday they have partnered for the use of radio-frequency identification technology in fresh food categories.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the terms, Walmart ( WMT ) will test a sensor technology that brings RFID-enabled labels to the meat department through Avery's RFID services, the companies said, adding that it will enhance accurate tracking of inventory.
