11:00 AM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart's ( WMT ) Walmart Canada said Thursday it will invest 6.50 billion Canadian dollars ($4.51 billion) over the next five years to build new stores, including five new Supercentres, and a distribution center.

The Supercentres are expected to open in Ontario and Alberta by 2027, the company said.

The Vaughan distribution center is scheduled to begin operations this year, it said.
