SANTIAGO, July 16 (Reuters) - Walmart's ( WMT ) workers union in

Chile has called off a strike, it said on social media on Monday

evening, with its current labor agreement with the company

extended another 18 months.

Chile's National Federation of Walmart Workers launched the

strike last week after negotiations for a new collective

bargaining agreement failed.
