12:44 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) has reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract with unionized workers at its Disneyland park in California, the union said Wednesday.

The contract contains "significant wage hikes," increases in seniority, retention of health insurance premiums, and improvements to the attendance policy, the Disney Rising Workers Bargaining Committee said in a statement posted on the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 324's website.

The final vote is scheduled for July 29.

The union is part of a coalition that includes UFCW Local 324 and represents 14,000 cast members at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the Disney ( DIS ) hotels.

"We care deeply about the wellbeing of our cast members and are pleased to have reached a tentative agreement with Master Services Council that addresses what matters most to our cast while positioning Disneyland Resort for future growth and job creation," Disney ( DIS ) told MT Newswires in a statement.
