Walt Disney Reportedly Cuts 75 Jobs Across ABC Network

03:19 PM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) has cut approximately 75 staff members across ABC News and its eight ABC-owned local stations, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday, citing a memo to the staff.

The layoffs are evenly divided between employees from ABC News and local stations, according to the reports.

These job cuts will not affect specific teams or disrupt national or local programming, the reports added.

Walt Disney ( DIS ) and ABC News did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
