05:55 AM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) said Sunday that Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine made an estimated $438.3 million globally, including $205 million domestically.

The company said Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's movie has achieved the "highest-grossing global opening for an R-rated film" in box office history.

Starting Friday, Deadpool & Wolverine will appear at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park for a limited time, the company said, adding that Deadpool will also appear at Disneyland Paris.
