Walt Disney Says New Streaming Platform to be Called ESPN, Cost $29.99 a Month

11:01 AM EDT, 05/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) said Tuesday its new direct-to-consumer streaming service will be called ESPN ( DIS ) and will cost $29.99 per month for the unlimited package.

A select option will cost $11.99 per month, and there will also be bundling opportunities for the ESPN ( DIS ) unlimited plan with Disney+ and Hulu, which includes a launch offer priced at $29.99 for the first 12 months, the company said.

DIS shares were up 0.8% in recent trading.
