Walt Disney's 'Moana 2' Reportedly Reaches $600 Million Globally in Second Record Weekend

06:36 AM EST, 12/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney's ( DIS ) animated film "Moana 2" made a record $600 million from the global box office in its second record weekend, media outlets reported Monday.

The sequel made a total of $300 million in the US and $300 million worldwide, surpassing the original "Moana" film that made $643 million worldwide in 2016, reports said.

The film added $52 million over the weekend, according to reports.
