11:34 AM EST, 01/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) has received two bids from potential buyers for its TVN broadcast unit in Poland, according to multiple media reports on Wednesday.

The initial bid was submitted by Polish billionaire Michal Solowow, while a competing offer was also made by WP Holding, a Warsaw-listed media group, separate reports by Bloomberg and Reuters said.

Bids are due by Friday, with TVN estimated to be worth around $1.2 billion, the sources told Bloomberg.

Warner Bros. shares were rising more than 2% in recent Wednesday trading.
