Warner Bros Discovery says billionaire Malone to exit board, become chairman emeritus

(Reuters) -Warner Bros Discovery ( WBD ) said on Friday cable TV pioneer and major shareholder John Malone would step down from its board and transition to chairman emeritus, the second boardroom change at the media giant in recent weeks.

The media giant had said in March it plans to add General Atlantic's Anton Levy as an independent director to its board.
