Warner Bros. Discovery to Launch Max Streaming Service in Europe in May

11:54 AM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) said Thursday it will launch its Max streaming services in Europe on May 21, starting in the Nordics, Iberia and Central and Eastern Europe.

The company said Max launches in Poland, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium will "follow closely" after the initial launch. Warner Bros. said these plans will increase the streaming service's coverage to 25 countries in Europe and 65 countries and territories globally.

In addition, the company said the Olympic Games Paris 2024 is set to stream live, exclusively on Max in the 25 European countries where it is available.
