Warner Bros. Discovery's Gaming Head David Haddad Reportedly to Depart

12:41 PM EST, 01/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Bros. Discovery's ( WBD ) gaming business president David Haddad will leave his role after twelve years, according to media reports Thursday.

JB Perrette, president of Global Streaming and Games, said that Haddad will remain for three months while a replacement is found, Bloomberg reported, citing an internal note to the company's employees.

A town hall meeting with Perrette and Haddad is scheduled for later Thursday to update the WB Games team, Variety reported, citing a source familiar with the situation, adding that the company has no plans to sell the games division and intends to focus on filling Haddad's position for the existing business.

Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares of the company were up 1.5% in recent Thursday trading.
