Warner Bros. Games Acquires MultiVersus Developer Player First Games

12:43 PM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Bros. Discovery's ( WBD ) games unit said Monday it has acquired Player First Games, the developer of the free-to-play platform fighter game MultiVersus.

Warner Bros. Games said Player First Games will continue to operate under the leadership of co-founders Tony Huynh and Chris White,

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Shares of Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) were down 3.3% in recent trading.
