04:57 PM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Waste Connections ( WCN ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $1.35 per diluted share, up from $1.17 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.29.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $2.34 billion, up from $2.06 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.30 billion.

The company now expects 2024 revenue of roughly $8.90 billion, $150 million higher than the previous outlook. Analysts expect $8.83 billion.

The company also increased its quarterly dividend by 10.5% to $0.315 per share, payable Nov. 21 to shareholders of record Nov. 7.
