Waterdrop Declares Special Cash Dividend Totaling Roughly $15 Million

11:34 AM EDT, 03/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Waterdrop ( WDH ) declared Wednesday a special cash dividend of $0.04 per American depositary share or $0.004 per ordinary share for 2023 to shareholders of record on April 19.

The dividend totaling roughly $15 million is payable on or around April 30 for holders of ordinary shares, and on or around May 3 for holders of ADS.

The company also said that as of Feb. 29 it had repurchased about 39.7 million ADS worth $88.8 million from the open market under share repurchase programs launched between 2021 and 2023.
