09:42 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- WD-40 ( WDFC ) said Tuesday it has sold its UK homecare and cleaning product operations to Manchester-based consumer products maker Supreme Imports in an all-cash deal worth up to 5.6 million British pounds ($7.5 million).
WD-40 ( WDFC ) said it will offer certain transition services for up to three months, adding that it will not transfer facilities or employees to Supreme Imports in the deal.
The company said it intends to use the majority of the up-front net proceeds for the payment of short-term high-interest rate debt, and the remaining amount for general corporate purposes.
Shares of WD-40 ( WDFC ) were 0.5% lower in early trading.
