03:22 AM EDT, 07/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Weatherford International ( WFRD ) said late Monday it received a multi-year contract to provide managed pressure drilling services for the Trion deepwater oil project in Mexico.

The company said the deal includes service for an initial eight wells, which could grow to 24.

Weatherford said it will use its Victus system for the project to improve drilling safety, efficiency and performance.
