Webster Financial's Unit, Marathon Asset Management Forming Private Credit Joint Venture

09:47 AM EDT, 07/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Webster Financial's ( WBS ) Webster Bank unit and Marathon Asset Management said Monday they are forming a private credit joint venture for providing direct lending services to sponsor-backed middle market companies.

The collaboration will consolidate Marathon's asset management services with Webster Bank's banking product suite, the companies added.

The timing and location of the joint venture weren't disclosed.
