Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected GAAP and adjusted earnings of $0.70.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.86 billion, down from $1.96 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.92 billion.

The company reaffirmed its 2024 adjusted earnings forecast of $4.80 to $4.90 per share. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $4.87.
