Well Health Makes Rapid Progress on New Primary Care Patient Openings
Nov 20, 2025 6:16 AM

08:01 AM EST, 11/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Well Health Technologies ( WHTCF ) said Thursday that is on the way to filling the 45,000 new primary care patient slots that it had opened up last June.

The company has so far enrolled 25,000 new patients in Ontario, Alberta and Manitoba, and expects to fill the balance by the end of the first quarter. Patient recruitment was achieved through physician hires and digital transformation.

Well Health ( WHTCF ) also reported 92% digitization for all primary care clinics that have been in its network for at least nine months. Core digitization covers online patient booking, self check-in, patient reminders and patient consents. AI tools are also being employed across the network, the company said.

"We take clinic transformation very seriously and have a highly methodical way of approaching our digitization plans," said Jeremy Mickolwin, who heads clinic operations. "Our goal is to ensure that every clinic in our network has achieved its 'core digitization' within a year of operations. Our definition of 'core' will likely expand as our new AI enabled applications are being rapidly deployed and driving significant new benefits for providers."

The company noted that overall same clinic revenue growth across WELL Medical Centres (WMC) and WELL Diagnostics Centres (WDC) was 10% and 16% year-over-year respectively.
