WELL Health Technologies Launches Upgraded Version of AI-Powered Physician Co-Pilot Tool

08:12 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- WELL Health Technologies ( WHTCF ) said Thursday that it launched the second generation of its WELL AI Decision Support tool in partnership with Healwell AI (AIDX.TO).

According to WELL Health ( WHTCF ), the upgraded version now includes screening capabilities for numerous chronic diseases such as chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and diabetes, enabling risk stratification of patients into high, medium, or low risk categories.

"Adding chronic disease detection is a game-changer for our AI powered physician co-pilot tools," said Michael Frankel, chief medical officer of WELL Health ( WHTCF ).

The companies enhanced the tool just six months after its initial launch, which was primarily focused on rare disease detection.

WELL Health's ( WHTCF ) share price fell 1.1% to $3.61 yesterday.
