08:02 AM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Welltower ( WELL ) said Monday its operating company has launched an offering of $750 million worth of exchangeable senior notes due 2029 in a private placement.

Initial purchasers are expected to be granted an option to purchase up to $112.5 million in additional notes.

Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment or redemption of debt, as well as investment in health care, wellness and senior housing properties.
