Welsbach Technology Metals Extends Business Combination Deadline to June 2025

10:23 AM EDT, 07/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Welsbach Technology Metals Acquisition ( WTMA ) said Friday it has extended the deadline to complete a business combination by one year to June 30, 2025.

The decision was made at a special meeting held on June 28, with approximately 83.5% of shareholders voting, Welsbach Technology said.

The extension, approved through amendments to the company's Charter and Trust Agreement, does not require any additional contributions to the trust account, the company said.

Shares of the company fell 0.5% in early Friday trading.
