Wendy's Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Earnings Rise, Revenue Falls; Trims Fiscal 2025 Guidance

07:19 AM EDT, 08/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wendy's Company (WEN) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Friday of $0.29 per diluted share, up from $0.27 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.25.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 29 was $560.9 million, compared with $570.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $558 million.

The company lowered its fiscal 2025 adjusted earnings guidance to $0.82 to $0.89 per share from $0.92 to $0.98 previously. It also trimmed its annual global systemwide sales growth outlook to a decline of 5% to decline of 3%, compared to the previous range of down 2% to flat.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect adjusted earnings of $0.94 per share on revenue of $2.19 billion.

Shares of the company were down 1.1% in Friday's premarket activity.
