02:53 PM EDT, 05/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- WeRide ( WRD ) said Tuesday it has expanded its cooperation agreement with Tencent Cloud to support its R&D in autonomous driving, Robotaxi commercialization and global expansion.

The companies will explore commercial deployment of the level-4 autonomous robotaxis as part of the deal, the firm said.

WeRide ( WRD ) said its robotaxis will be integrated into Tencent platforms, including Tencent Smart Transportation Mini Program on Weixin/WeChat and Tencent Maps.
