05:10 AM EST, 01/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- WeRide ( WRD ) said late Tuesday it launched a new simulation model aimed at helping accelerate the development, training, and validation of autonomous vehicles at scale.

The WeRide Genesis model uses physical and generative artificial intelligence to generate realistic virtual worlds, building simulated cities within minutes and accurately reproducing real-world driving scenarios that are tough to capture on actual roads.

This allows AVs to undergo "large-scale" training and validation in simulation, leading to improved performance in complex scenarios and lowering traditional testing costs, the company said.
