WeRide Launching Fully Driverless Commercial Robobus Operation in France

05:01 AM EST, 02/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- WeRide ( WRD ) said late Thursday it is launching its Robobus operation in France as part of a shuttle service partnership with beti Automated Mobility, Renault Group, and Macif, marking its first fully driverless commercial deployment in Europe.

Beti will commence operations March 10.

WeRide ( WRD ) said the initial learning phase will run through April 19, while a second target operating phase will commence in July.
