WeRide Starts Production of New WePilot 3.0 ADAS System

10:03 AM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- WeRide ( WRD ) said Wednesday its one-stage end-to-end advanced driver-assistance system has entered production.

The company said the system, called WePilot 3.0, was completed in seven months and supports multiple computing platforms, sensor configurations, and vision-based perception for navigation in complex traffic conditions.

The technology, developed with Bosch, will debut in the updated Chery EXEED ES and ET vehicle models, with existing owners receiving upgrades through over-the-air updates, WeRide ( WRD ) said.

Shares of the company were down 1.7% in recent Wednesday trading.
