07:28 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- West Fraser Timber ( WFG ) said Monday it has completed the sale of the Quesnel River Pulp mill and Slave Lake Pulp mill to an affiliate of a fund managed by Atlas Holdings.

The sale was completed after the completion of regulatory reviews and other customary closing conditions, the company said.

The two mills produce Bleached Chemi-Thermomechanical pulp used to manufacture paper products.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
