08:09 AM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- West Red Lake Gold Mines ( WRLGF ) on Tuesday said insights gained from the test mining and bulk sample program at its Madsen Mine in northwestern Ontario, Canada, are translating into a more efficient mine plan.

The bulk sample results that were reported in early May showed a "close reconciliation" between expected and actual tonnes, grade, and contained ounces and validates the company's ability to mine at Madsen according to plan.

The test mining also supported the ability to mine up against historic stopes, which reduced barriers in stope design and unlocked some resource potential, the company said.
