12:10 PM EDT, 05/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- West Red Lake Gold Mines ( WRLGF ) on Thursday it sold 2,350 ounces of the 2,498 ounce of gold refined from a bulk sample gold of ore from the Madsen Mine in northwest Ontario .

The gold was sold at a weighted average gold price of US$3,293 per ounce in sales that took place between late March and early May, for proceeds to date of US$7.7 million.

The remaining gold will be sold on final settlements with the refiner.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.02 to $0.70 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
