05:09 PM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Western Alliance Bancorp ( WAL ) reported Q3 earnings late Thursday of $1.80 per diluted share, down from $1.97 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.89.

Revenue for the quarter that ended Sept. 30, calculated as sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $823.1 million, up from $716.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $805.8 million.

Shares traded 5% lower in after-hours activity.
