05:13 PM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Western Alliance Bancorporation (WAL) reported Q1 earnings late Thursday of $1.60 per diluted share, up from $1.28 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.63.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $728.8 million, compared with $551.9 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $705.9 million.
