10:18 AM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Western Copper and Gold ( WRN ) said Monday it nominated Pamela O'Hara for election to the board of directors at the company's annual meeting on June 12.
The nomination came as Bill Williams is retiring from his last remaining board position, and Tara Christie will not stand for reelection in order to focus on her existing executive priorities.
O'Hara has over 30 years of experience in mining and transportation infrastructure projects, especially in the Yukon, the company said.
"Looking ahead, as we advance the Casino Project through environmental assessment and permitting, Pamela's proven ability to navigate regulatory processes and deliver major projects will be a significant asset to the board of directors and the broader team," said Sandeep Singh, President and CEO
