11:26 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Western Midstream Partners ( WES ) completed its acquisition of Aris Water Solutions ( ARIS ) .

The combination creates "a stronger, more agile enterprise, well positioned to meet the challenges facing our producer customers in Texas and New Mexico with respect to produced-water gathering, recycling, transportation, disposal, and beneficial reuse," Western Midstream ( WES ) Chief Executive Officer Oscar Brown said Wednesday in a statement.

Western Midstream ( WES ) agreed in August to acquire Aris for $1.5 billion in cash and equity.
