07:48 AM EST, 12/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies ( WAB ) said Monday it has acquired Bloom Engineering, an industrial heating technologies provider, for $69 million in cash.

The company said the acquisition will strengthen its heat transfer and energy solutions portfolio.

Westinghouse Air Brake ( WAB ) said Bloom will join its Freight and Industrial Components Group, with the deal expected to be immediately accretive to earnings per share, excluding transaction costs.
