WestJet Airlines begins flight cancellations in anticipation of union strike

June 19 (Reuters) - WestJet said on Wednesday it has

started cancelling and consolidating flights as it prepares for

strike action from WestJet Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and

other Tech Ops employees.

The carrier anticipates 6,500 customers will be impacted by

40 cancellations of flights from June 18, 19.
