07:23 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Westwater Resources ( WWR ) said Tuesday it has agreed to supply graphite fines from its Kellyton plant in Alabama to Hiller Carbon.

Under their offtake agreement, Westwater Resources ( WWR ) said Hiller Carbon would purchase annually 100% of Westwater's phase 1 fines production estimated at 14,000 metric tons.

Graphite fines are produced during the CSPG spherodizing process. With the Hiller Carbon deal and the previously disclosed CSPG offtake agreements with Stellantis ( STLA ) and SK On, Westwater said it has sold 100% of its Kellyton phase 1 production.

Westwater shares were up 2.5% in recent premarket activity.
