WEX Introduces Feature for Secure On-Site EV Charging Payments
May 25, 2025 8:11 PM

11:46 AM EDT, 04/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- WEX (WEX) said Monday it is introducing WEX EV Depot, a new feature that enables secure electric vehicle charging at private charging stations when using the WEX Fleet Card.

WEX EV Depot streamlines operations for fleet managers and drivers by consolidating all EV and fuel transactions under a single WEX fleet credit line, reducing the need for multiple cards and simplifying onboarding and daily management, the company said.

The new feature is available to existing WEX En Route customers for an additional subscription fee. It also integrates with insights from Sawatch Labs, a WEX company, to help fleets decide where to install depot chargers based on real operational data and to improve return on investment once the infrastructure is deployed, the company added.
