10:09 AM EDT, 03/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wex (WEX) said Wednesday its tender offer for its common stock has expired, with about 4.88 million shares validly tendered at or below the purchase price of $154 per share.

The number of shares tendered is based on the preliminary count by Equiniti Trust, the tender offer's depositary, Wex said.

The company said it expects to accept for payment a total of roughly 4.87 million shares at a $154 per share for a total of about $750 million.

The shares will be accepted on a pro rata basis, except for "odd lots" tenders, which will be fully accepted, the company said.
