Weyerhaeuser to Sell Princeton Mill in British Columbia to Gorman Group

04:27 AM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Weyerhaeuser (WY) said Wednesday it will sell its Princeton, British Columbia, lumber mill to the Gorman Group for approximately 120 million Canadian dollars ($86.6 million) in cash.

The deal includes the mill, timber license assets, and working capital, with price adjustments subject to closing conditions, the company said.

The transaction is expected to close in Q3, with forest tenure transfers to follow, and Weyerhaeuser said it anticipates a CA$15 million tax expense.
