09:26 AM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wheels Up Experience ( UP ) said Wednesday that Eric Cabezas has been appointed interim chief financial officer and Matthew Knopf as chief legal officer, starting Sept. 9.

Cabezas will succeed Todd Smith, who is departing the company for a new role, while Knopf will succeed Laura Heltebran, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, according to the company.

A search for a new CFO is ongoing, the company said.

Cabezas is the company's senior vice president of finance while Knopf served as deputy general counsel at Delta Air Lines (DAL), Wheels Up added.
