WASHINGTON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Billionaire Elon Musk,
tasked by President Donald Trump with shrinking the federal
government, is a "special government employee" but is not
receiving a U.S. paycheck, a senior White House official said on
Monday.
Musk, who still runs Tesla and SpaceX while chairing
Trump's Department of Government Efficiency, is following the
law, the official said.
