10:31 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Willdan Group ( WLDN ) said Tuesday it was awarded a $9.8 million contract to provide technical services for the California Public Utilities Commission's Integrated Resource Plan.

The four-year contract, with an option for a two-year extension, covers energy modeling, technical analysis, and advisory services to help California develop electricity strategies aligned with its clean energy goals.

The company said its wholly owned subsidiary E3 will lead the project.

Shares of Willdan ( WLDN ) were up 1.6% in recent trading.
